Men’s difficulty in forming friendships is at a crisis point and is contributing to a sense of social isolation and poor quality of life, experts say.
While women’s friendships tend to flourish throughout their lives, the struggle for men to form solid friends begins in adolescence and continues into adulthood, according to the head of youth mental health organisation Batyr, Nic Brown.
